Preview: South West Four Weekender 2011

South West Four Weekender 2011 (SW4), an elite festival of electronic music’s finest, is nearly upon us, launching on a bank holiday weekend on London’s Clapham Common, on 27th and 28th August.

The legendary Underworld headline day one on Saturday; with cutting edge support from the likes of John Digweed, Laidback Luke, Pete Tong and James Zabiela. It is SOLD OUT already. But do not cry into your beer glass just yet. On day two the musical juggernaut that is SW4 gets even more exciting with the colossal Pendulum headlining Sunday South West Four in what’s going to be their only London show of the year. They will be joined by an exciting bunch like Magnetic Man, Annie Mac, Wretch 32, Yasmin and Digital Soundboy Soundsystem to name a few and tickets are selling fast.

Packed into two days are musicians recognised as the greatest electronic artists of all time, which means this festival is going to be a bender like no other. It’s an orgy of purest quality electronic sounds from techno legends, global trance underground house and much more. Whatever the weather the event’s sure to open the floodgates to one heck of a euphoric dance music party in the park.
